The project was designed for various categories of ITC brands (biscuits, snacks, confectionery, noodles and soaps) in 132 uncovered and under-covered markets of Uttar Pradesh to assess availability, market share and service levels of their brands.
U&E deployed field supervisors to cover more than 3000 retail outlets to capture shelf level data, in real time using a mobile application, on ITC products vis a vis competition and the same was shared with trade and sales teams to plan the coverage and focus on product wise distribution using data.
The project has helped ITC to increase their availability by 24% and get those markets on distribution map.
